BIKO
Squad Training Session Canterbury, Kent
18 January 2004 : With Alvin Walters BIKO Squad Coach
The British Institute of
Karate Organisation (BIKO) had its first squad training
this year, on Sunday 18th January 04. It was held at
the New Body & Mind Sports Centre in Canterbury. The newly built
venue saw 40 students take part in the session, guided by Sensei
Alvin Walters. He displayed a range of techniques for the students
to practice. BIKO is at present developing a squad
for the future, which will incorporate both juniors and seniors.
Biko hopes to gain the services of the present World Heavyweight Champion,
Leon Walters to show his skills at the next squad session,
and having it as an open course. This will be held on Sunday
11th July 04, in Bristol (the venue to be decided on). Further
